On October 8, 2002, the HHS Office for Civil Rights (OCR) released a new Frequently Asked Questions about the HIPAA Privacy Rule to respond to questions and comments submitted to its Web site. OCR also posted an unofficial version of the complete regulation text of the Privacy Rule, as modified.
